Every AchieveIt HSC tutor sat the HSC themselves within the last few years and achieved Band 6 results in the subjects they teach. They know the syllabus, the marker expectations, and the trial-exam pressure first‑hand.
All sessions run live on Microsoft Teams from anywhere in Sydney or NSW. Lessons are recorded so students can rewatch tricky concepts before exams.
Students submit drafts and receive line‑by‑line feedback against HSC marking criteria, the same feedback loop that turns Band 4 essays into Band 6 essays.

HSC and Year 11 tutoring is $95 AUD per hour, or $855 for a 10‑hour pack (a 10% saving). Packs expire 6 months after purchase. There are no joining fees.
All AchieveIt lessons are run online via Microsoft Teams. This lets students access top HSC alumni regardless of their suburb in Sydney, lets the tutor share digital whiteboards and past papers in real time, and gives the student a recording to rewatch before exams.

When you submit an enrolment enquiry we'll reply within 24 to 48 hours to arrange a consult. The consult lets us gauge the student's goals, learning style and availability, and gives us a chance to tell you about how we work. We then send you bios of the tutors we think are the best fit so you can choose, or you can browse our tutors page directly. Each pairing draws on tutors whose own HSC results and subject specialisations align, not a one‑size‑fits‑all match. If the fit isn't right you can always switch tutors.
HSC tutoring is subject‑specific: a tutor walks the student through course content, past papers and essay drafting in a chosen subject. HSC mentoring is broader, study skills, time management, exam strategy and the transition to university. Many students do both: tutoring for their hardest subject plus mentoring across the year.
