Sienna Roebig

Hi, I'm Sienna! I graduated high school in 2023, studying English, Chemistry, Biology, Maths Advanced and Study of Religion as my senior subjects. My favourites of these were English, because I love creative writing (my childhood dream was to be an author), and the sciences: Chemistry and Biology, because I just found them fascinating.

I am currently completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Griffith University, Queensland. I love learning about human anatomy and physiology as well as building the understanding to be able to make connections between specific concepts (foundations of which I learnt in high school) and their crucial role in the bigger picture.

I find that having a background understanding of certain concepts and linking to the real-world context assisted me with learning throughout high school and this has carried forward in my tertiary education. I incorporate this strategy when tutoring students.

In the past year or two I have fallen in love with running, nutrition, and health, recently signing up for my first half marathon. I also enjoy baking, going to the beach, listening to podcasts about health and physiology systems, and I am passionate about working with children — I also coach kids Ju Jitsu.
