Hi! I'm Alexandra Field, an aspiring doctor currently studying a Bachelor of Biomedical Science at Griffith University. I graduated from Ascham School in the class of 2023, completing English Extension 2, English Extension 1, English Advanced, Mathematics Advanced, Economics, Chemistry and Geography in Year 12, as well as Drama in Year 11.
I am super passionate about sport, growing up in a rigorous athletic environment that led to my participation in the Australian Junior World Triathlon Team in 2023; concurrently, throughout my life I have fostered a love for learning through reading and school.
My favourite subject at school was English as it allowed me to engage in prevalent societal, and some nonsensical, discussion with my peers, and positioned my outlook upon greater society through the educative lens of a text.
I spend a lot of my time training, but I also enjoy reading, being at the beach, travelling and exploring new places, and spending quality time with my friends.
Alex is both an elite athlete and a scholar, approaching her studies with the mindset, planning and scheduling precision she does her athletic training. Alex graduated as one of Ascham's top achievers and is now studying Biomedical Science at Griffith University with her sights set on Medicine. Her range of subjects makes her a true asset to any student with the determination to achieve their goals.
