Hi, I'm Phoebe. I graduated from SCECGS Redlands in 2023 with my IB Diploma. The IB subjects I studied were English Language & Literature, Environmental Systems and Societies, Spanish B, Maths AI, Geography, and Economics.
I will be studying PPE, Law, and Spanish at the Australian National University. For the first half of 2024, I worked as an intern at the American Chamber of Commerce in Sydney.
The IB provided me with ample opportunity for research and independent study, such as in-depth exploration of my interest in resource economics and utility markets through my extended essay. I enjoyed the broad range of subjects students were required to take, especially foreign language study, which I will continue in university.
Outside of school, I'm interested in politics and government, and have been involved with my local council as a youth advisory group member.
