Hi! I'm Hugo, and I graduated from Redlands School in 2025. In my final year I studied: IB Maths AA HL, Physics HL, Music HL, English Language and Literature SL, History SL, and Latin SL.
I am currently studying a double degree of PhB Science and Bachelor of Music at the Australian National University in Canberra.
My favourite subjects while at school were Maths, Physics, and Music. I love the way Maths and Physics open up opportunities to understand the world around us in everyday problems. For my Maths IA, I explored the effect of cutting a circular cake away from its centre on slice sizes, using mathematics to explain a surprisingly common conundrum. Music has been a lifelong passion as well. I play both piano and trumpet, and my Extended Essay focused on Hamilton the musical, which sits at the intersection of my love for music and musical theatre.
Outside of studying, my interests include photography, sailing, and of course music in all its forms, from concert halls to musical theatre.
